You will be on a group tour of 35-55 passenger bus. Others will be on the bus unless you book all 55 or 35 seats depending on bus size.

Bookings should be 4-6 minimum.  Bus does have a minimum group size to travel and could be rescheduled due to bus size and date. Every attempt will be made to fulfill group requirements. 

Transportation to and from the distillery.

During the guided tour, you will have the opportunity to walk through various attractions throughout our distillery, as well as taste our Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey flight, which includes the Master Blend Edition, which is now sold exclusively at Nearest Green Distillery.

This guided tour, throughout what the press has dubbed "Malt Disney World," begins at Philo & Frank, the world's first non-alcoholic speakeasy, where your tour guide will show a short film about Nearest Green, the first known African American master distiller. After leaving Philo & Frank, you will visit each of our buildings, including the Bottling House, the Family Tasting Room (where you’ll have the opportunity to taste our award winning whiskeys) and our Single Barrel Rickhouse. Along the way, your knowledgeable tour guide will share the remarkable histories of Tennessee Whiskey, Tennessee Music, and Tennessee Walking Horses. Nearest Green Distillery is the first place to bring together the three things Tennessee is most well-known for and we are honored to share their famed histories with you.

During your tour, you will be walking a little more than 1/2 mile throughout our property. We encourage guests to wear supportive footwear and be prepared for different weather elements.

Guests that will be participating in the tasting portion of this experience must have a valid ID. Only guests 21+ will be able to participate in the tasting portion of the experience. All guests with confirmed reservations are welcome for the duration of the tasting and tour. 

We ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their tour for check-in at our Welcome Center. Tours begin promptly at the scheduled time and we cannot guarantee a spot on another tour experience if your tour time is missed.

Note: We love animals. We have cattle and more than 50 horses, many of them Tennessee Walking Horse World Champions, who live at Nearest Green Distillery. However, due to being a working farm, we ask that you leave all animals at home unless required for a disability. If you have a service animal, please be prepared to share what work or task your animal has been trained to perform.

Currently we travel on Thursday, Friday and Sunday's depending on need

We dont ever plan on canceling a tour after it is booked but if the tour does not occur you will be rescheduled for later date.
